On Ronelle’s Radar: Drying Out, Then Some Weekend Storms

Weather Blog

A lingering shower or storm will be possible through late morning for portions of Southeastern Kansas but the rest of the area will stay dry.

Skies turn partly cloudy and with some sun and recent rainfall, it’ll be humid and hot deep into the afternoon with highs in the low 90s.

Western Kansas will need to watch out for a few evening/overnight storms.

The severe risk is low but a stronger storm could produce gusty winds and hail. Storm chances for Western Kansas linger through much of Saturday while Central Kansas stays dry, partly cloudy, and hot with highs around 90.

More storms are possible in Western Kansas late Saturday night. This next round will likely make the trip into Central Kansas by Sunday to make for a damp end to the weekend. But at least highs will start to cool down through the 80s.
