On Ronelle’s Radar: From heavy coats to 60s!

Weather Blog

Another cold start to the day will mean heavy coats will be coming back out, but we’ll be able to switch to something lighter during the afternoon.

More record lows this morning could be broken with temperatures starting around or below freezing. Hard Freeze and Freeze Warnings will be in effect for Central and Eastern Kansas until 10am.

Skies are in fair shape and will stay that way through the day with mostly sunny to partly cloudy conditions. A nice warm-up kicks into gear starting today as highs reach the low 60s.

The trend of chilly mornings and milder afternoons continues through the rest of this week. Skies stay dry until we get into late Wednesday night when there’s a small chance of a sprinkle or shower.

Clouds will be on the increase Thursday, leading to a chance of some showers, especially in Southwestern Kansas. The rest of the week, including the weekend, stays dry.
