On Ronelle’s Radar: From stormy to steamy

Weather Blog

Some showers this morning moving across extreme South Kansas will try to clip the Wichita area, which will keep a slight chance for a little rain in the forecast through mid morning. But severe weather isn’t expected and mostly cloudy skies will start to break even more once we get into the afternoon.

High temperatures heat up to around 90 and it will actually be a cooler day compared to the hotter temperatures that move in over the days to come.

Most of the afternoon looks pretty dry but we’ll have to watch for the possibility of another storm complex to develop in Western Kansas.

Some storms could be strong to severe with damaging winds and hail. Conditions gradually get drier into Thursday but temperatures will go up into the middle to upper 90s and look to stay that way through the weekend.
