There’s a lot more green on Storm Tracker Radar this morning. But rain in Western and North Central Kansas is light.
Temperatures through the overnight were also safely above freezing in the 40s and 50s so there hasn’t been any snow that’s mixed into the rain in Western Kansas yet. A few flakes still can’t be ruled out before sunrise, mainly close to the Kansas/Colorado line. After sunrise, light rain will start to taper in Western Kansas and move more into South Central Kansas.
Chances for Wichita will mainly be between late morning and afternoon. Clouds and a north breeze will keep highs cool today in the 50s.
Any rain leftover in the Wichita Metro will move out after 4pm and it looks dry, cloudy, and cool after 5pm.
Good news for trick-or-treaters! Sky conditions improve overnight and lead to a dry Thursday. But it’ll be a chilly start to the day as lows fall into the 30s.
There’s a slim rain chance late Thursday night mainly for Northern Kansas. More chances are ahead over the weekend and the start of next week. Best timing looks to be Saturday night and Monday.
