Slick and icy spots are possible this morning as everyone returns to work. Especially in North Central Kansas where the most snow fell in our area.
The winter storm is gone but still impacting the Midwest and Ohio Valley. There could be a few leftover flurries in Northern Kansas but skies will be drier and sunnier today.
Bundle up before you head out the door. Temperatures are in the teens to 20s with wind chills as low as the single digits.
Winds will be much lighter today but could still be a bit breezy during the morning. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies should help melt some snow and ice. But much of the area will still be chilly with highs in the 30s and 40s.
We’ll experience a gradual warm-up into the 50s under a mix of clouds and sun the rest of the work week. Rain is looking possible by the end of the week and we could see some snow mix in at times.
