First thing you’ll notice as we get our Friday started is that it’s not as windy! Northwest winds are still kicking up the occasional breeze but they’re not as strong as the past couple of days. They’ll reach 10-20mph today.
That northwest flow is giving us a chilly morning in the 20s and 30s but we’ll bounce back once the sun comes up.
Sky conditions have really improved and turned partly cloudy during the overnight. Any leftover clouds after sunrise will continue to clear out so we’ve got plenty of sunshine on the way. Highs will warm up into the upper 40s and low 50s which is still below normal by mid March standards, but it’ll still be a very nice day.
Skies stay dry into the weekend with clear conditions tonight and lows in the 20s. Winds will be even lighter Saturday and Sunday with highs in the 50s and 60s.
Rivers and creeks that are running high in Reno, Rice, Smith, and Osborne counties will get a chance to recede over the next few days.
Our next rain chance moves in by Tuesday with skies still looking unsettled late next week. High temperatures will stay in the 50s and 60s.
