It was a pleasant, sunny day with no clouds this afternoon over Kansas. Wichita, Pratt and even Dodge City climbed into the low 70s. It will be quiet and frosty overnight, especially parts of central and eastern Kansas. Light winds and clear skies mean we’ll get chilly in a hurry, as we’ll cool down into the 30s and 40s.
A frost advisory is in effect Sunday morning generally along and southeast of the Kansas Turnpike.South winds though will ramp up Sunday, along with sunny to mostly sunny skies. Gusts will hit 20 to 25 mph or higher during the afternoon.
Look for 60s in Wichita but mostly 70s in the west. Our next chance of rain will hold off until Wednesday. Highs will stay in the 60s for the most part with overnight lows in the 40s.
