Storms are few and far between this evening, with the strongest activity in southwest Kansas and in northeast Colorado.
The best chance of storms overnight will be in western and northern Kansas. Overnight lows will drop into the 60s and 70s.
Northern Kansas will have best chance of storms on Sunday, albeit just a 20 percent chance. Highs will be similar to Saturday as mostly middle to upper 90s will be the rule, along with gusty south winds. It will be plenty humid as well.
While we can’t rule out storm chances for some on Monday, the better chance will arrive Tuesday and Wednesday as the next weather system moves in. Highs will fall from the 90s into the 70s and 80s by Tuesday and Wednesday.
The break from the bake won’t last long as 90s return to Wichita by Thursday.
