It was a decent December afternoon here in Kansas as the big winter storm stayed well to the south of the Sunflower State.Clouds will temporarily thin overnight before another batch of clouds move in from the west. Lows will drop mostly in the teens.
Those clouds will be around first thing Sunday morning then those too will move and thin out. Northwest winds will prevail as we’ll have highs in the 30s and 40s.
We will be in the 40s Monday with a Tuesday to Wednesday warming trend. The next weather system could affect us by Thursday, bringing chances of rain mixed with snow in places. Obviously, we have some work to do with the finer details as it’s still too early to tell about the track and timing for the system.
