Price’s Pressure Points: Winter’s chill then warmer

Weather Blog

Snow continues to fall in parts of northern and western Kansas, where modest accumulations have taken place Sunday. One to perhaps as much as two inches of additional accumulation is possible over the north and west through the next few hours.  By late Sunday evening, even a few wet snowflakes are possible in Wichita but no accumulation is expected. As the clouds break overnight, temperatures will tumble into the teens, 20s and 30s.  Freeze Warnings are out with a hard freeze expected in western Kansas.  If you haven’t unhooked the garden hose yet or brought in/covered up potted plants, tonight is your night to complete that.

Look for mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies at the start of your work week.  Highs will warm to the 30s and 40s by Monday afternoon.

A gradual warming trend kicks in this week with the only other mention of moisture by Thursday.
