The clouds were stubborn today in parts of the state. This had a huge impact on temperatures. The longer it took the clouds to clear, the cooler it was today. Many cities topped out in the middle 70s, though!
Overnight, some patchy frost is possible in the northwestern part of our viewing area where temps will dip into the middle 30s. No frost is expected in Wichita, but it will be a crisp, fall-start to your Saturday.
Highs during the afternoon, while cooler than today, will still be wonderful.
Winds will be light and eventually change from the south by Sunday. Temperatures will stay on a sweet roll until next Wednesday. Highs will be in the 60s with overnight lows in the 30s and 40s. Temps by Wednesday will drop to the 50s.
Next chance for rain comes in Wednesday and departs by Thursday. Amounts at this point will be light and liquid in form — so no snow this time!
