Temperatures turned up a few degrees today.

It was still easy to take seeing as the humidity is low. That will start to change overnight. The humidity level will be on the rise and remain with us for the rest of the work week.
Tomorrow, we’ll have much more of the same: plenty of sun, light winds and hotter temps with more humidity.

Beginning tomorrow, the heat index will be back into the lower 100s.

There could be a few spotty showers and thunderstorms in southeastern Kansas thanks to a minor disturbance, but we’ll miss out on this moisture.

Highs by the end of the work will be in the upper 90s and lower 100s by the weekend! There is a slim chance for a shower or a storm this Friday. However, there’s a better chance as a front locks up around our region early next week.
