Today, we’ve had a few showers hold together in the northern half of the state.  These will continue to work east early this evening.

Our attention will then shift to SW KS where a few stronger storms are possible after 7 PM.  While hail is possible, stronger wind gusts will favor these storms this evening.  After dark, the severity of these storms will drop.

More storms will take over from the western half of the state and spread east toward Wichita.  It probably won’t be until dawn before we pick up a few raindrops here in the metro.

Damp conditions will persist off and on through Wednesday and linger into Thursday.  I’ll have a closer look at this rain hour-by-hour using Stormcast tonight on KSN News at 5, 6 and 10.  I’ll also have updated rainfall totals to share with you!
