Teachman’s Take: Temperatures Rise, Rain Chances West

Weather Blog

Temperatures have started the trend of going up today.  Overall, it was still a pleasant one with low humidity.

The sun has also been shining bright.

This evening, a stray shower or storm is possible in western Kansas.  In the days ahead, rain chances still look spotty out west with dry conditions for the rest of the state.

Friday evening, I can’t rule out some stronger storms out west.  These will track east through the overnight and weaken considerably.  But, Wichita could awaken to a few showers or sprinkles Saturday morning.

The rest of the weekend looks dry and hot.

Next week, unsettled conditions will sweep south and give us a few opportunities for stormy skies early in the week.
