After a round of severe storms across the state overnight that produced some damaging winds in western Kansas, only some moderate rain and occasional lightning linger in eastern counties this morning. Radar: https://www.ksn.com/weather/radar

These storms did bring some much-needed rain across the state, though, with roughly 1-2″ and counting…

We’ll continue to see the rain exit this morning, leaving us with decreasing clouds, breezy winds, and warming temperatures for the rest of the day. Not a bad Monday!

Because of this morning’s storms, our evening storm chances look to miss us to the southeast. However, a spotty shower can’t be ruled out in northern Kansas on the backside of the area of low pressure.

A small storm chance will linger into Tuesday, too, then heat and sunshine will take over for the rest of the week! Get ready for summer…
