The heat and humidity we’ve dealt with all week will continue through tomorrow, which is why our Heat Advisory remains in effect, so continue to take it easy out there!
Highs today will once again top off around 100° with the humidity making it feel like it’s around 105-110°, so make sure you’re staying hydrated. We’ll also keep with gusty south winds and plenty of sunshine today, before isolated storms develop in western Kansas this evening.
A Marginal Risk for severe weather is in place across our western counties for this evening, as hail and gusty winds will be possible with any storms that develop.
Storm chances then increase across the state Saturday evening and into the night as a front passes through, cooling us down slightly for the second half of the weekend.
A Slight Risk for severe weather is in place for northcentral Kansas Saturday evening, with large hail and damaging winds possible, so stay weather aware if you have outdoor plans this weekend!
Temperatures then look to heat right back up as we head into Independence Day next week.
