A *Severe Thunderstorm Watch* is in effect for southcentral Kansas through 9 PM, and northwest Kansas through midnight.
Severe storms producing damaging winds – downed trees and power lines – have been moving through the Wichita Metro this evening. Track the latest on radar right here: https://www.ksn.com/weather/radar
An additional line of potentially severe storms is expected to move from northwest to southeast across the state tonight, with the primary concern being damaging winds.
Storms will then exit to the southeast tomorrow morning, leaving us with decreasing clouds, lower humidity, lighter winds, and slightly cooler temperatures for our Sunday. Get out and enjoy it!
Stick with KSN for severe weather updates for the rest of the night.
