It’s been a quiet, but hot, day across Kansas with plenty of sunshine and temperatures soaring into the 90s!

And it’ll be a nice evening to get out and enjoy the last night of Riverfest! Just stay hydrated, as the heat index is near 100° now, and temperatures won’t cool into the 80s until after 9 PM. We’ll also keep with mainly clear skies, humid conditions, and gusty south winds.

Then we’ll stay muggy overnight as we just drop into the 60s and 70s with only a few clouds and strong winds.

For your Sunday, temperatures climb even more into the upper 90s and low 100s, with the humidity making it feel a few degrees hotter! We’ll also see even gustier south winds with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. There’s a slim chance for a stray storm out west, but most will stay dry.

A front is then on the way for Monday, bringing some cooler temperatures and a small chance for storms.
